The Race To Be the First Word, Part II

Alright, hold on here. I definitely need to respond to Josh’s post on this because I feel our readers need the mommy side of the story as well. Yes, sure, I did hear Pooky say what sounded to be “dada.” She’s said that a few times now. And yes, there was that one incident when it sounded like she said “hi dada.” She definitely didn’t know what she was saying, though, so does this make it her first word? I think not. I mean, I got just as much of a kick out of her saying it as Josh did. Well, maybe he got more of a kick out of it. I guess this is where I let out a big sigh and say, oh well . . . It’s just I’ve been doing “mama” trainings with her every day.
It’s not over yet. We still have to see what her first word will be when she actually understands what she’s saying.
