Look, Mom, I Can Drive!

When my younger brother was around 3 years old, he somehow got in my parents’ car, got the car into neutral or reverse mode, and then the car, with my brother behind the wheel, slowly went backwards in the parking lot of our apartment complex until it hit a curb. Good thing there wasn’t anything or anyone in the way. He’s 23 now, and his driving is still pretty scary.

Gothamist blog writes about a much scarier, and strangely humorous, incident in the news that occurred yesterday in Queens, NY. Apparently, a 12 year old boy who was mad at his mom, drove off with the car with his 7 year old brother. The boy drove to his friend’s house and, get this, the car was even parallel parked!
