Elephant In the Womb

During my pregnancy with Pooky, I was in such awe of the whole experience. All of the changes happening in my body to accommodate the creation of this baby were amazing to me. The ultrasounds were always breathtaking and such a thrill.

Thanks to David at Boing Boing for tipping us to these beautiful images of an elephant in the womb. These images are part of National Geographic’s In The Womb: Animals, a 2-hour special about animal pregnancy premiering Dec 10.

Wow. That’s all I can say.
