Gifts for New Parents

One thing you really need as a new mom or dad is a good sense of humor. I remember those first few weeks - heck, those first few months - when everything seemed so serious. It was as if Josh and I had been fitted with these panic buttons that were constantly being pushed. Oh no, she won’t eat! Oh no, her belly button thingie fell off too soon! Oh no, why is she doing this?! Oh no, why isn’t she doing that?!
We’ve relaxed a bit.
Here are a couple items that would make great gifts for new (and not so new) parents. The “Safe Baby Handling Tips” board book illustrates the do’s and don’ts of handling a baby. It also includes a wheel of responsibility that takes care of designating chores (such as diaper changes) among parents. The “New Parent Apology Cards” addresses the fact that, as parents, you will find yourself in many, many situations where you’ll have to apologize. Well, there’s an apology card tailored for many of the scenarios you’re bound to encounter. Price: $9.95 each.
Remind some new parents (or yourself) that it’s okay to stop and laugh every once in a while. These gifts should help with that, and they’re available at Exit9.
Special Promotional Offer for GooGaBaby Readers: Receive 20% off storewide thru Dec. 31 at Exit9 with code: Googa20.
Psst, they also carry other great baby items such as Trumpette baby socks.
