Round and Round the Blogosphere

We’re going to point you to some interesting things people are blogging about in the parenting genre of the blogosphere. Look for the Round and Round the Blogosphere post every Saturday.

This week Round and Round the Blogosphere:

Katie at Silicon Valley Moms Blog rants about health insurance (or the lack thereof). We’re dishing out quite a bit of money each month to keep our health insurance coverage, so I can definitely sympathize.

A mom goes online, sets up a fake persona named CheshaKitten, and proceeds to make her teenage son fall in love with CheshaKitten. She did this to win a bet. This lady is creepy.

A couple forgot their 3 year old baby in a shopping cart at Toys R Us. Um, how do you “forget” your baby?

Steve describes The Sibling Effect, his theory that the more siblings a child has, the better behaved s/he is. I come from a very large family, and if we were considered well behaved as young’uns . . . well, let’s just say I don’t think this theory applied to my family.

Rebel Dad is disappointed about a story Dateline ran about stay at home dads. I didn’t see this, but from how he describes it, I’m disappointed as well.

Diddy, aka Sean Combs, is now a daddy to twin girls. Kim Porter gave birth to the babies on Thursday.
