Pooky still isn’t “crawling” yet, but she’s certainly getting around. She rolls, slithers, scooches, and rolls to where she wants to go. One of her new tricks is crawling (or sliding) backwards until she’s under the couch. When she first started doing this, she would startle herself with the inability to move backwards any further, and she’d start complaining or crying. Now, she’s used to it, so she just hangs out under the couch. She’s never ever totally under the couch - yet - just halfway under.

It’s pretty amusing, except now I have to clean under the couch more often because she’s usually covered with a bit of dust when I pull her out.

Yesterday, I left her for a minute, and I found her under the television armoire. I think it’s time for us to get on all fours and make sure the house is babyproof.
