Sometimes I can’t believe how quickly Pooky is growing up. Other times, it seems like an eternity has passed since her first few days when all she did was eat, sleep, cry and poop. She just does so much cool stuff now. I can’t get over it.

Last night she took another big step when, for the first time, she sat up all by herself. She’s already pretty good at sitting (though eventually she’ll tip forward or sideways and land on her face), but had never gone from lying down to sitting up under her own power. I captured the moment in the photo above with my cell phone camera (please ignore the mess in the background).

On a related note, I’m also excited about finally figuring out how to get these pictures off of my cell phone and onto my computer. To celebrate, and because I think it’s cute, another picture I took when Pooky was trying out a seat in Target:
