May was mentioning to me this morning how, during the early months of a baby’s life, when she’s too young to express her opinions or pick out her clothes, she’s effectively a billboard for her parents’ opinions and styles. In that brief window before she insists on Blues Clues and Dora themed attire, she can be dressed up to show off her parents’ tastes in music, movies and politics. It’s a great opportunity for people like me, who are starting to feel too old to wear t-shirts with pictures of rock stars but are secretly sad about it.

Until recently, we hadn’t found a ton of baby stuff that reflects our personal tastes. Well, we may have just hit the mother lode. These silkscreened onesies and baby tees from Reckon Wordwide are all kinds of cool. They include images straight from the hipster hall of fame: crusty old country singers, stand-up comics, iconic movie stars, punk bands, 70s TV characters, jazz legends; they’re all represented. Just pick which ones you like and baby will be happy to be your personal style representative. But you gotta hurry, the window is closing. Price: $21 for ready made ones at Reckon’s Etsy store or custom made ones through Reckon Wordwide.
