Huggalugs Leg and Arm Warmers
Posted by May on March 16th, 2007Filed under: Accessories, Clothing, Product Guide & Reviews.

We love our Babylegs, so I wasn’t too sure if we would love Huggalugs leg and arm warmers as much. It turns out we love them just as much if not more! These are so great for crawling babies because they protect their legs while allowing them full range of motion.

Babylegs have cuffs that tend to squeeze Pooky’s thighs and leave red marks. Although they’re probably not causing Pooky any pain, I still feel a little bad because I know how it feels to wear pantyhose, and it seems like it’s a similar effect. Huggalugs, on the other hand, don’t leave any marks. They’re soft, stretchy, and just as fun and convenient! They come in some great designs, including go-with-everything solids. Price: A$16.50 (approx. $13)
Australian-based Huggalugs also sells 100% organic tops to go with their stylish leg and arm warmers.
Special offer for Googababy readers: 20% off at Huggalugs with coupon code: GOOGA. What a great deal! Grab a few pairs - and shipping outside Australia is only A$5 (approx. $4)

I am a BabyLegs devotee, but when I read your comment I thought maybe I should give huggalugs, even though I haven’t had any experiences with redness. I decided to try out the huggalugs since you are offering the coupon and i have to say I was not as impressed as I thought I would be. First I wasn’t impressered with the stlyes and secondly they didn’t stay on as well. I will definitely be sticking with my BabyLegs!
Thanks for adding input about your experience with these, Lisa! We’re still enjoying our Huggalugs and haven’t experienced any problems with them staying on. I have heard, though, that Babylegs now has comfort cuffs, so I’d be interested in trying them again to see if it reduces the red marks Pooky usually gets with them.
I personally love my Babylegs and will never be lead astray! I heard about a coupon code for a free pair with every order: Celeb with a capital C. I don’t know how long it will last, but I just bought 4 pairs! I’m also on thier e-mail list so I get deals every month…..
my friend had huggalugs and they unraveled really fast. I want to support Babylegs as i know it’s a Seattle mom with a social and environmental concience. They have fit both of my kids through all thier changes and I wear them, too! She started them for her daughter when she was a stay-at-home mom and i just think that’s really cool.
HI -
I had baby legs and just tried the Huggalugs! I love the Huggalugs, they are not made in China like babylegs, but made with Australian grown organic cotton and superfine Australian Merino wool in Australia! For this reason you might not want to throw them in the washer with towels. They also support and donate a lot of their proceeds to kids camps and charitys. Move over Babylegs, something new and better has come along!!!
