- It says here that a new baby deprives its parents of two-months worth of sleep in its first year of life. Seems a little low. Pooky is almost a year old now, and I don’t recall sleeping at all since she was born.
- A study has found that many parents are wary of letting their kids play with kids who have ADHD or are depressed. Sad, since interaction with other children is the best thing for those who suffer from these conditions.
- Baby’s tongue may be new, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t crave some flavor. Spice up that food!
- The low birth rate in Japan is being called an emergency. In response, some companies are encouraging their employees to work from home and paying them more for having kids.
- The Oregon legislature is set to pass a bill requiring employers to let nursing moms pump for half an hour in private each day. We didn’t already have a law for that?
