Organizational features are probably one of the most important aspects of a diaper bag for me. Although I don’t usually carry a ton of items with me, I do find that having a baby means that you need extra pockets to hold diapers, bibs, snack cups, sippy cups, bottles, and other essentials. When Pooky was younger and I was exclusively breastfeeding, I could get by with a “normal” handbag if needed, but nowadays, I find I definitely need exterior pockets for cups and bottles.

The Reese Li Lexington diaper bag has some great organizational features. The inside of this bag is very similar to the way the Mia Bossi Maria bag is organized. It has pockets of various sizes all around the inside. It’s smaller than the Maria (4” width x 11.5” tall x 5.5” depth), but I find it’s actually better for everyday use considering the types of things I carry with me. It also has a large back pocket and two exterior pockets on each side. A flap folds over the top, but it doesn’t cover the entire top opening, so it carries more like a tote in this respect.

It comes with handles that can be attached to be held as a shoulder bag or hung on a stroller. I’m not too fond of these straps because they’re quite thin. They’re fine hanging from a stroller, but I find them a bit flimsy and unsupportive when carrying as a shoulder bag. I’d like to see wider, more supportive straps.

The Reese Li Lexington line comes in some fabulous fabric designs. The exterior is laminated canvas which I found to be thin, durable, and not at all bulky. This is definitely a classy bag that can be used with or without baby. Price: $150 at Reese Li.
